Choose what gets shared
In the plugin settings, choose the content types and categories to include, then set default destinations for routine sharing. A checkbox on an individual post lets you prevent that entry from being shared.
Set LinkedIn destinations and format
For LinkedIn, select a personal profile, company pages where you are an administrator, or both. Select simple text sharing or an advanced option that tells LinkedIn to use the post’s featured image.
Set message defaults and post exceptions
Create a default share-message format for posts using dynamic shortcodes. The post meta box lets you replace the default message for an individual item. LinkedIn sharing entries show instances when content has been shared.
Configure the publishing workflow
After installing AutoSocial, open its settings in WordPress to choose content types, categories, default destinations, and sharing preferences. Set the message format and LinkedIn sharing style where applicable. Then use the controls on individual post screens to prevent sharing or change the message for a particular item.
This setup suits blogs, company websites, and publishing teams that share WordPress content across several social destinations. Category filters help determine which topics enter the workflow, while default destinations reduce repeated setup for routine posts.
