Prepare a location and data source
Select a location by city, ZIP code, or coordinates. Global Weather Search lets users look up locations worldwide, with coverage of more than 200,000 cities across 238+ countries and territories. The plugin works with both OpenWeather and WeatherAPI, and you can switch between them.
Forecasts, air quality, and astronomy
Show hourly or three-hourly weather forecasts for up to 120 hours and daily forecasts for up to 30 days. Where supported by the plugin, extended ranges also apply to air-quality and astronomy information.
The Air Quality Index section can display current AQI, hourly and daily air-quality trends, historical air data, pollutant breakdowns, and health recommendations. Historical weather views provide past conditions for a location.
Sun and Moon details include sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, moon phases, golden hour, daylight duration, and solar events. These views can add location context to travel, outdoor activities, photography, and event pages.
Maps and user questions
PRO includes a Weather Map by OpenWeatherMap and a Radar Map by Windy. The AI Weather Assistant lets visitors ask weather questions in plain language and receive responses about the weather information displayed on the site.
Choose a layout and publish
Ready patterns and customizable templates cover current conditions, forecasts, AQI, weather grids, tabs, tables, accordions, historical data, Sun and Moon times, maps, and section headings. Adjust the layout, colors, and displayed data. For custom post types, forecasts can use location information stored in custom fields.
To set up a display, add the plugin to WordPress and provide an API key from OpenWeather or WeatherAPI. Choose a pattern or template, customize the weather display, and publish it through a Gutenberg block, shortcode, Elementor weather widget, or supported page-builder setup. The plugin also supports Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, and other page builders. After setup, choose the location and information to show, such as extended forecasts, AQI, astronomy data, or maps.
