Choose what visitors can unlock

Passster protects WordPress pages, posts, selected content sections, child pages, and an entire site. Passster Pro includes multiple passwords and password lists, along with rules for deciding who can access protected content and for how long. You can customize the password form and use cookies to grant access across multiple protected areas.

Since version 4.3.2, a page refresh is the default after unlocking. Enable inline unlocking in Advanced Unlock Behaviour to reveal content without a refresh.

Set access for various visitors

Assign different passwords to users or groups, or make and manage large password lists in the WordPress administration area. Grant access by user role or email address, and apply protection to multiple pages with Quick Edit or Bulk Edit. Google reCAPTCHA and hCAPTCHA are available as additional protection settings.

Set password limits and share access

Passwords can expire after a set number of uses, after their first use, or after a period measured in hours, days, or weeks. In version 4.3.20, password lists can also be set to expire at a specific date and time. Passster Pro tracks password use and expiry.

Encrypted unlock links let visitors access protected content without entering a password. Links can be shortened automatically for sharing. Tools to track and prevent concurrent password sharing give administrators more control over how access is distributed.

Protect WooCommerce and review usage

Passster Pro can protect WooCommerce pages, products, and checkout. Its WooCommerce integration also lets you sell access to protected content, then automatically generate and email passwords after purchase.

Usage statistics show when and how often passwords are used. Reports can include the first usage date, optional IP information, and browser details for passwords and password lists.

Configure Passster Pro

Install Passster in WordPress, activate the paid edition, and configure protection in the plugin settings. Choose which content or store areas to protect, select passwords or access rules, and customize the user-facing form. For larger sites, prepare password lists and use Quick Edit or Bulk Edit to apply protection. Primary texts can be edited in the administration area; translations can be added with .po/.mo files. Passster also supports WPML and Polylang.
