Turn site activity into tracking events

Pixel Cat Premium is the paid edition of Pixel Cat for WordPress. Pixel Cat can connect a site with Facebook Pixel, Conversions API, or Google Analytics Pixel. Premium includes Custom Events and Dynamic Events to the Standard Events supported by the base plugin. A point-and-click builder lets you configure event rules without custom code.

Custom Events describe site behavior more precisely when a Standard Event does not fit. Dynamic Events can respond to how long someone stays on the site or to clicks on selected buttons and links. A time delay can hold an event until a user has stayed for a chosen period, which can exclude quick exits from that tracking activity.

Build Custom Audiences from pages, posts, categories, and tags users view, as well as links and buttons they use. These audience conditions describe the activity you want to group; event rules determine when tracking events fire.

Add context to event data

Pixel Cat Premium can automatically send the HTTP referrer, post categories, post tags, and Google Analytics UTM tags as event parameters. These details give campaign activity and audience rules more context. Supported conversion events can also include the associated price and currency.

Apply tracking to commerce activity

For WooCommerce, Premium works with Facebook Pixel event tracking and a product feed. These tools can be used to make Dynamic Product Ads and Custom Audiences based on product activity.

The Easy Digital Downloads integration offers one-click Facebook Pixel setup. Its event tracking and product feed support tracking sales-related activity, retargeting prospects, and creating Dynamic Product Ads and Custom Audiences.

Set up your tracking rules

1. Install Pixel Cat Premium on the WordPress site where you want to manage conversion tracking.
2. Open Pixel Cat in WordPress and connect the relevant pixel or analytics service.
3. Use the visual event builder to pick Standard, Custom, or Dynamic Events and set the behavior, audience conditions, and parameters you need.
4. For a commerce site, configure the available WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads integration.

Pixel Cat also lets you hide Facebook Pixel tracking from logged-in customers, including selected WordPress user levels such as administrators, editors, and contributors.
