Put WordPress content in searchable tables

Posts Table Pro displays posts, pages, and custom post types in tables visitors can search, sort, and view. Pagination organizes longer results, while responsive settings let you control how tables behave on various screen sizes.

Use tables for document libraries, staff or member directories, audio collections, events, publications, and internal content indexes. Visitors can browse entries by details such as category, tag, author, date, custom field, term, or ID.

Choose columns to display useful details

Standard columns include titles, pictures, content, categories, tags, authors, dates, and post IDs. Add custom fields, custom taxonomies, post excerpts, or post status when a collection needs structured details. Advanced Custom Fields and ACF Pro are supported.

Use filters to narrow larger collections

Dropdown filters are available for taxonomies, categories, and tags. You can also select posts by custom field, term, date, ID, and other available criteria. Enable AJAX to reduce server load when visitors search, filter, or move through results.

Display media alongside post details

WordPress media embeds support audio and video galleries, as well as media playlists. Featured images can open in a lightbox, and you can select their image size. These options suit tables that organize media as well as text based directories and libraries.

Set up a table with the shortcode

Install Posts Table Pro, configure the table settings, then add the [posts_table] shortcode to a page or widget. Settings and shortcode parameters let you choose columns, pagination, filters, sorting, and displayed content. Common options can be managed globally at Settings > Posts Table With Search & Sort.

WPML compatibility supports content translation. Translations are provided for French, Spanish, German, Greek, and Chinese (Taiwan). The searching and sorting functions use the jQuery DataTables library.
