WordPress forms handle logins, registrations, password resets, comments, contact requests, and purchases. reCaptcha Pro adds reCAPTCHA Version 2, Version 3, or Invisible to supported forms to help reduce spam entries. The Pro edition includes the free version’s functions and adds integrations and options for managing where and when checks appear.

Forms and integrations

Standard WordPress support covers registration, login, password reset, protected post passwords, comments, testimonials, and custom forms. Contact and membership integrations include Contact Form 7 (compatibility listed since version 3.4), Jetpack contact forms, Fast Secure Contact Form, MailChimp for WordPress, Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, WPForms, Caldera Forms, Elementor Pro Contact Forms, LearnDash Registration Page, BuddyBoss, Formidable Forms, Forminator Forms, and Subscriber Multilanguage.

For stores, reCaptcha Pro supports WooCommerce login, registration, lost password, and checkout billing forms, as well as Easy Digital Downloads login, registration, and password recovery forms. Other supported integrations include Divi contact and login forms; bbPress topics and replies; BuddyPress registration, comments, and group creation; wpForo login, registration, topics, and replies; Ultimate Member login, registration, and profile forms; and BWS Login Register Form login, registration, and password recovery.

Controls for where and how checks appear

• Choose a reCAPTCHA language and schedule protection for selected weekdays and hours.
• Configure subsites across a network and block disposable email addresses.
• Hide reCAPTCHA for selected visitor roles or allowlisted IP addresses. Hide the badge for Invisible and Version 3 implementations.
• For Version 2, choose normal or compact sizing and a Light or Dark theme.
• Disable the submit button and edit the error message.
• Send an administrator login notification, conceal the login page, and force strong passwords.

You can add custom code through the settings page. Multilingual and RTL support are included.

Set up reCaptcha Pro

1. Install and activate the add-on, then open its Settings page in the WordPress admin area.
2. Select “Get the API Keys,” enter the domain name, and make the keys.
3. Copy the public and private keys into their corresponding settings fields, then save.
4. Choose a reCAPTCHA version and configure the forms and display options for the site.
