Restrict Premium controls WordPress content access
Restrict Premium applies visibility rules to posts, pages, custom post types, categories, Gutenberg blocks, widgets, menu items, REST API content, and selected site areas. A rule can match everyone, logged-in users, selected user roles or capabilities, or the author of a post or page. You can also use a specified URL parameter, referring site, or cookie as a condition. For each rule, choose whether matching users can see the content or element.
Choose who can see WordPress content
Restrict Premium applies visibility rules to posts, pages, custom post types, categories, Gutenberg blocks, widgets, menu items, REST API content, and selected site areas. A rule can match everyone, logged-in users, selected user roles or capabilities, or the author of a post or page. You can also use a specified URL parameter, referring site, or cookie as a condition. For each rule, choose whether matching users can see the content or element.
Set the scope of a content rule
Set default visibility for an entire post type, or use shortcodes to restrict part or all of an individual post or page. In the block editor, each Gutenberg block has a Restrict panel. The Restricted Content container block applies a rule to a group of blocks and can show an optional custom message. Category rules can cover complete post categories.
Control menus, widgets, and login forms
Show or conceal widgets for different users. Menu items can be shown or hidden for logged-in users, selected roles, users with a specific capability, or logged-out visitors. You can place a login form on a post or page using either the Gutenberg editor or the Classic Editor.
Connect purchase conditions and redirects
Restrict Premium integrates with Tickera, Venuera, WooCommerce, and Easy Digital Downloads. Depending on the connected service, a rule can match users who made any purchase, bought a specific product, purchased a ticket, bought a ticket for a particular event, or selected a specific ticket type. WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads can also provide limited-time access after a user purchases a specified product.
With Simple URLs, you can protect a redirect using Restrict criteria. If a visitor does not meet those criteria, choose a specific page to display or send them to another URL.
Apply restrictions across the site
Site Lock can limit the entire website to logged-in users. You can also limit REST API access to logged-in users. A white label option is available for sites that want a less branded administration experience.
Configure the rules
Install Restrict Premium in WordPress, then choose the content or site element to control. Set an audience or integration-based condition, choose whether to show or hide the entry, and add an optional restricted-content message where available. The extension documentation covers content restrictions, WooCommerce integration, Simple URLs, and related settings.
