Restrict visitor actions
Choose whether to disable right-click and left-click actions, content selection, drag and drop, and common copy and save shortcuts. Other shortcuts that can be disabled are F3, F6, F9, F12, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+X, CTRL+S, CTRL+A, CTRL+U, CTRL+F, CTRL+P, CTRL+H, CTRL+L, CTRL+K, CTRL+O, and ALT+D. The add-on can also disable developer tools and inspect components.
Set access rules
Use Block by IP to block IP addresses and Block by Country for geo-blocking. The Pro feature list also includes a front/back blocker and REST API protection. Apply protection according to user roles, posts, or post types to manage access across selected areas of a site.
Lock or schedule content
Create multiple password-based content lockers with shortcodes. Assign a password to each shortcode and place the protected material between its shortcode parts in a post or page. You can also configure a shortcode to let a selected user role view the content without entering a password.
Set a period when scheduled content is available; it disappears when that period ends. The workflow tracks how many customers entered a password and how many times content was viewed by a selected user role. For paid access, the Pro edition includes a PayPal paywall.
Choose additional tools
- Add notification text and adjust styles for protected content.
- Set up subscription-based access and Mailchimp integration.
- Export results in CSV, XLSX, or JSON format.
- Apply watermarks to images.
- Use protection on PC and mobile devices.
These settings can be combined for publishers, membership-style sites, and other sites that need copy restrictions alongside password access, subscriptions, role-based visibility, geo-blocking, or paid content.
Install and configure
Install the extension from the WordPress dashboard, activate it, then open its settings and choose the protection options for the website. Configure copy and shortcut restrictions, notification text and styles, and the post types or content areas to protect.
For locked content, make a shortcode and set its password or permitted user role, then place it around the material in a post or page. If access is scheduled, define the available period. Before publishing protected content, configure any required IP or country blocking, REST API protection, role rules, PayPal paywall, or image watermarking.
