Connect website events with changing values
Actions let you automate API activity when an action happens on your site, linking a site event to an external service. Tokens let you grab dynamic data without code and send it to an API. The extension also includes dynamic variables, described as a PHP solution for grabbing values that change.
Link requests and handle structured responses
Chain API calls to connect multiple steps in a process. Caching API calls delivers a way to retain responses. For more structured data, WPGet API PRO can retrieve nested information from API responses and format returned data as HTML for display. It also supports Base64 encoded authentication and XML format APIs.
Configure connections and display results
WPGet API supports GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE methods, with query string, header and body parameters. Its authentication options include API keys, bearer tokens, basic authentication, username and password, and OAuth 2.0 authorization. PRO workflows can combine these connection settings with dynamic values, chained requests, caching and formatted output.
Display returned data with a shortcode or template tag. Examples include charts, graphs, tables and weather forecasts. The wider WPGet API ecosystem also includes integrations with WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms and wpDataTables. Separate extensions can import API data into WooCommerce products or custom posts; a separate OAuth 2.0 Authorization plugin handles authorization through that method.
Set up the extension
