Review and shape translations
The visual on-page editor lets you revise translated text in context. Dictionary rules can keep specific words unchanged or set how terms should be translated in each language. You can exclude a whole page by its URL or leave selected sections untranslated with CSS selectors.
wpLingua discovers site URLs and presents them as editable slugs. You can pick which slugs to translate and adjust them alongside page text. Translation rules can also change link and media URLs, including picture and iframe URLs.
Choose how visitors switch languages
Display the language switcher in a predefined position, add it to a navigation menu, or place it with the [wplng_switcher] shortcode. Block-based themes can use the Language Switcher block in the Site Editor. Switcher settings include dropdown, inline, and block styles; light, dark, and other themes; configurable language names; and flag choices.
Prepare translated pages for search
wpLingua translates meta title and description tags, hreflang links, social meta tags such as Twitter and OpenGraph, and image ALT attributes. It can also make XML sitemaps multilingual and includes HTML for search engines to index translated pages.
