Choose how customers select a currency
GeoIP services can detect a customer’s IP address and display prices in the corresponding local currency, so users do not have to make a manual selection. Keep the currency switcher available for shoppers who want to select a currency themselves.
Place the switcher above the Add to cart button on product pages, in product-related popups such as Quickview and filters, or in available widget locations. The [yaycurrency-switcher] shortcode lets you display it elsewhere in the shop.
Format prices for your store
Choose whether the display includes country flags, currency symbols, currency codes, or a combination. Set thousand and decimal separators, spacing, and rounding to control how converted prices appear.
Set pricing and checkout rules
- Add conversion margins or percentage-based payment fees for currency pairs to account for charges from a bank, payment processor, or money transfer operator.
- Round converted prices to selected thresholds and set endings such as 00, .49, .79, or .99.
- Choose which payment methods are available for each currency. For example, you can allow PayPal for USD and bank transfer for EUR.
- In the Pro feature set, assign a required currency to a payment gateway. Checkout can also reload when the currency changes.
Real-time converted prices can appear across the store and checkout. The order is placed in the currency selected by the shopper, according to your settings.
Currency options and sales reports
The premium feature set supports unlimited currencies, including currency units from around the world and Bitcoin (BTC). WooCommerce order reports can be filtered by currency to review total sales, orders, leaderboards, and top products sold in each currency.
YayCurrency is compatible with cache extensions and more than 50 popular WooCommerce extensions, including selected subscription, pricing, shipping, product options, checkout, payment, and page-building extensions.
