Build responsive video pages in WordPress

ARVE Pro adds presentation and provider controls to Advanced Responsive Video Embedder, a WordPress extension for videos from many hosts and formats. Responsive embeds use CSS rather than JavaScript. Add videos from your editing environment

Start with a provider URL on its own line, a WordPress embed shortcode, or ARVE's concise shortcode format. In the Classic Editor, the Embed Video button helps create ARVE shortcodes. In the Block Editor, use Embed, YouTube, Vimeo, Shortcode, or the ARVE Block. Elementor users can use an ARVE widget covering the available capability set.

Choose how each video loads and appears

With lazy loading, an picture appears in place of the complete video player when the page loads. A visitor can click the preview to open the video in a lightbox; a simple link can also trigger one. Other controls include disabling links in embeds to help prevent users from following them to the hosting site, and automatically pausing one video when another starts playing.

Apply provider options and supported formats

Custom URL parameters let you use options offered by individual providers. ARVE supports providers with iframe embed codes, including YouTube, Vimeo, Rumble, Odysee-related services, Kick, Twitch, TikTok, Facebook, Dailymotion, Wistia, Brightcove, Archive.org, Google Drive, and TED Talks, along with others listed by the extension. It also supports mp4 and webm video files.

Set video information and retrieve channel videos

ARVE lets you specify a video's title, description, and upload date for schema.org data intended to help search engines index video content. ARVE Pro can autofill this information. You can also display the latest video from a YouTube channel using its channel URL; that result updates and is cached hourly.

After purchasing ARVE Pro, follow the three steps provided with the purchase receipt. The process includes downloading arve-pro.zip and installing it through the WordPress Admin panel. ARVE also includes an AMP add-on for displaying ARVE embeds correctly on AMP pages.
