Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro adds more than 110 controls to the WordPress Customizer for styling LearnDash course and learner interfaces. The controls cover common design adjustments, so website owners and developers can refine these areas without writing custom CSS for every change.

Course content, progress, and profiles

Adjust course content list backgrounds, text colors, hover effects, separators, and count visibility. Progress bar options include color, border radius, height, stripes, and an animation when the bar loads. Button backgrounds and text colors are customizable.

For the [ld_profile] area, options include avatar shape, a custom edit-profile link, and controls for showing profile and quiz information. You can also display or conceal selected course and profile capabilities, disable expand and collapse links, and show content expanded by default.

Focus Mode and extension integrations

Focus Mode includes more than 20 design options, seven of them for comments. Login and registration popups have more than 10 options. Course Navigation Widget styling has 15 options, and Course Grid Add-On styling has 20.

• Alerts have nine custom colors and additional settings; tooltip backgrounds and text colors are customizable.
• The Achievements Add-On has 10 customization options.
• Tin Canny Reporting has 12 options for front-end reports.
• Uncanny Groups receives button, border-radius, and other front-end styling improvements.
• WisdmLabs ratings, reviews, feedback, and selected group registration interfaces receive design upgrades.

Templates and theme compatibility

The plugin detects whether LearnDash 3.0 or the Legacy template is in use and applies styles accordingly. Other design improvements cover Focus Mode navigation and sidebar tray, course sections, mobile menus, comments, registration pages, profiles, course grids, pagination, assignments, and the User Status widget. Print styles and right-to-left language support are also included. CSS in a child theme and WordPress Additional CSS can take precedence over the plugin styles.

Theme compatibility depends on LearnDash markup, so customized markup may affect how styles appear.

Install and activate Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro on your WordPress site, then open the Customizer. Review the available controls, adjust the areas relevant to your courses, preview the changes, and publish the settings when the layout suits your site.
