Cookie notices and visitor choices
EU Cookies Bar for WordPress Premium provides a cookie bar and options panel where visitors can review cookie information, accept or decline, and change their selections later. A small access bar can reopen the settings. Use the [eucookiesbar_settings] shortcode to place a settings link or text elsewhere on the website.
Add an explanation of the website's cookie use and a list of its cookies in the privacy policy area. Set how long an accepted agreement lasts, and select whether cookies are blocked until a visitor accepts. Mark strictly necessary cookies as always enabled, with name prefixes available for cookies that should remain active.
Cookie records and categories
Premium includes a separate expiration period for cookie rejections, multilingual support, and language detection. It can scan the site to detect cookies and display cookie information on the front end and in the back end. Administrators can add, edit, and delete cookie records, including each cookie's name, category, duration, and description.
Create categories with names and descriptions, assign cookies to them, and mark selected cookies as Always Active. Categories can be added, removed, and rearranged by dragging and dropping.
Cookie bar and settings panel controls
Edit the front-end message with the WordPress editor and place the bar at the top, bottom, bottom left, or bottom right. Add decline and close buttons, then choose whether closing, scrolling, or refreshing accepts or declines according to the selected behavior.
Premium settings include the privacy button's appearance, a header title, a display delay, and a dismissal timeout. Conditional tags can control where the bar appears. For the settings panel, choose a layout, show cookies as a list or tabs, add custom icons, and adjust opacity. Configure whether cookie lists and descriptions appear, hide selected categories, and edit the save, accept, and reject buttons. Labels can be set for the overview, cookie list, cookie names and descriptions, and the Always Active and Active Cookie sections.
Tracking integrations and consent reports
Premium integrates with Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel for tracking. Position the floating icon and select its appearance to give visitors quick access to cookie settings. Activity logs show interactions with the consent mechanism, and detailed reports summarize cookie consent performance.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the extension in WordPress, then open its settings to configure the bar, visitor choices, cookie records, categories, settings panel, and floating icon. Add the shortcode wherever visitors need a direct settings link. Configure premium language settings, integrations, logs, and reports in the extension settings.
