Freesoul Deactivate Plugins PRO
Freesoul Deactivate Plugins PRO manages where WordPress extensions execute. When a plugin is disabled for a context, its PHP code does not run there, which can reduce plugin assets, HTTP requests and database queries. Preview pages with selected plugins disabled to investigate possible conflicts without changing the public website.

Rules for pages, URLs and visitors
Set rules for individual pages and posts, publicly queryable custom posts, post types, archives, term archives, search results and custom frontend URLs. PRO also works with deactivation on backend pages and custom backend URLs. Rules can differ for logged-in and logged-out users.
You can deactivate plugins for mobile devices, but a mobile rule applies across all mobile pages. For selective mobile page rules, use the integration with Specific Content For Mobile.
PRO tools for plugin review and cleanup
- Get automatic suggestions for potentially unused plugins on the frontend and backend, with checks after content updates.
- Record Ajax and Post activities to find the actions where specific plugins may need to be disabled.
- Clean up REST APIs, translated URLs and cron jobs, and deactivate general bloat.
- Manage options autoloading and deactivate stylesheets and scripts from remaining active plugins, the theme and WordPress core.
- Import or export FDP settings and use bulk actions to activate or deactivate plugins in FDP settings.
- Generate automatic GTMetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights reports.
Review changes before applying them
Review where each plugin is needed, then create rules for relevant pages, post types, archives or URLs. Use previews to compare page behavior or investigate conflicts, and activity recording to identify Ajax or Post actions for further review. Cleanup and asset controls provide additional ways to refine plugin loading.
Permanent deactivation and permalink requirements
Permanent plugin deactivation supports the permalink structures Day and name, Month and name, Post name and custom structures ending with %postname%. Other permalink structures are not supported for permanent deactivation. Plugins that change permalinks, such as Permalink Manager Lite, may also prevent it.
