NP Quote Request for WooCommerce Premium Extension works with NP Quote Request for WooCommerce to manage quote requests alongside regular purchases. Choose normal checkout, RFQ checkout, or settings that let customers choose at checkout. Product eligibility, cart contents, and price settings shape the available route.

Checkout modes and product eligibility

In normal checkout mode, customers can buy products with visible prices and request quotes for eligible products. Enable RFQ for selected simple or variable products, or for all product types. Customers can submit eligible products or their cart as a quote request.

RFQ checkout routes products through the quote process. Prices are hidden by default, with an option to show them. At checkout, customers can be offered a choice to pay or request a quote. That choice can depend on a minimum purchase condition or on the products in the cart. An optional unpaid checkout can also be converted by an administrator into a quote request, followed by an email to the customer.

Price visibility and staff access

Control price visibility and quote-request access by visitor role or IP address. In normal checkout mode, prices can remain visible while add-to-cart controls are hidden and quote requests are allowed. Staff mode can let sales staff see prices on the front end by IP address while logged in as customers.

Proposals and customer responses

A shop manager can add a proposal to a quote request, optionally include a payment link, and save it with the “Quote Sent” status. The customer receives an email notification and can follow the link to pay. Customers can also submit a bid with their request and respond to a proposal with a note through the email response link.

Quote confirmation and quote-sent emails can be resent from order actions. Set automatic quote expiration or cancellation by number of days. Custom content can be added to confirmation and proposal emails, with further customization by product.

Customer requests and administration

Customers can save favorite products for later purchase or quote requests. Add-to-Quote controls can include a quantity box on archive and category pages, and a shortcode with a quantity box is available. Customize the quote request page, require fields such as phone, ZIP, or state, and choose whether customers can make an account. Custom HTML can appear above or below the request page, and a widget can be created for enquiries.

Administrators can enable or disable RFQ for all products or a category, set defaults for new products, create orders from RFQs, and view the RFQ list. The extension also works with custom checkout fields using Ninja Form and conditional RFQ mode through code.

Integrations and setup

The extension is compatible with WooCommerce Product Add-ons and has better integration with Astra and QuickView add-ons. Most other product option builders can integrate in RFQ mode; test compatibility with the free version first. Beta integrations are listed for the basic versions of Advanced Product Fields and WooCommerce Product Add-on Ultimate.

Install NP Quote Request for WooCommerce, then add the Premium Extension to the WordPress website. Choose RFQ checkout, normal checkout, or a combination, then configure product eligibility, price visibility, required fields, email content, and proposal settings. Test a product request and the customer and shop-manager notifications before using the workflow with customers.
