This layout can suit restaurant ordering, wholesale catalogs, books, course booking, music products, and other stores where shoppers need to compare or choose several items.
Build tables around your catalog
Product Table for WooCommerce Premium presents products in searchable tables that customers can use to browse, compare, or order entries. Create multiple tables and place them on pages or posts with a shortcode. This layout can suit restaurant ordering, wholesale catalogs, books, course booking, music products, and other stores where shoppers need to compare or choose several items.
What can customers search and compare?
Configure product queries by category, taxonomy, tag, menu order, or price limits. Include or exclude selected products or categories, limit the products shown, and sort results by values. Customers can search or filter by categories, tags, colors, sizes, attributes, custom fields, SKU, or other taxonomy data. Search can be limited to selected product information.
Attributes can appear in their own columns and in the search box. Add custom columns and configure each one individually. A description column can display product specifications for comparison, such as in a mobile product catalog.
Variations and ordering
Variable products can appear with each variation in a separate row. On variable product pages, enabling a variation table replaces the default variation dropdown and shows the selected table across those pages. Variation labels can be shown, and product options may be preselected.
With a Quick Order Table, customers can add products to the cart by increasing quantities. Add-to-cart buttons are customizable, and the table can redirect customers to the cart or checkout after an entry is added. A floating mini cart can be shown or hidden and customized.
Where can tables appear?
Tables can be placed on pages and posts or displayed in shop, archive, category, tag, and taxonomy areas, including individual variation product pages. When a table overrides an archive display, its products follow the WooCommerce default query, and the advanced search box is unavailable on that archive. Columns can be hidden from guest users or restricted to logged-in users.
Other options include instant search, a load more button, pagination controls, popup notices, graphical stock status, and audio playback in an audio table. Table data can also be exported or imported through the product's table workflow.
Set up a table
Install the extension in WordPress, activate the Premium edition, create a table, configure its products and columns, then add its shortcode to a page or post. A shortcode can look like [Product_Table ID='123' name='Table Name']. The required ID is generated when the table is created; the optional name identifies the shortcode. Review the table on the storefront and adjust its filters, ordering controls, visibility, and cart behavior for the intended workflow. Developers can pass query arguments through shortcode attributes and extend functionality with action and filter hooks.
