WP-Cron Status Checker Pro
WP-Cron Status Checker Pro checks whether WordPress can run scheduled tasks and logs hooks that run through WP-Cron. These tasks can include update notices, scheduled posts, auto-draft cleanup, subscription billing, session cleanup, and scheduled sales. The dashboard and status page display WP-Cron status; the logs show what ran, when it ran, how long it took, and whether it completed. The dashboard can also show when WP-Cron is disabled and when it last ran.

How the 24-hour check works
Every 24 hours, the plugin checks whether WordPress can run WP-Cron. It sets its own transients to expire over that period, so the check does not rely on WP-Cron to trigger itself. An unexpected error sends an email notification.
Read hook timing and completion
A hook that takes longer than five minutes is treated as failed. The plugin also tries to detect some cases where code abruptly exits the process. A detected interruption may appear with an elapsed time of N/A and an Incomplete status. In other detected cases, the result is Exit, which is considered complete.
For a hook failure, an email notification may arrive within 24 hours, or according to the add-on's settings. Alerts distinguish between two kinds of problems: WP-Cron Cannot Run usually points to WordPress, the server, or permissions; WP-Cron Failed to Complete usually points to specific PHP code that produced an error or did not finish.
Pro log and email options
The Pro version removes the three-log limit and lets you pick to keep logs longer and send emails more frequently. These settings give you more history to review and control over notification frequency.
Find the status and logs
In WordPress administration, open Tools and then WP Cron Status to view the status page. The plugin also appears on the admin dashboard.
Install and review activity
Install the Pro plugin, then open the dashboard or status page. Review the log and email settings, pick how long to keep logs, and set the notification frequency available in the plugin. After scheduled tasks run, use the logs to inspect hook results, durations, and completion states.
