AST PRO extends Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce with tools for importing shipment data and managing fulfillment. The underlying extension includes tracking to orders and displays clickable tracking links in customer order emails and the My Account area. Customers can use those links to check a shipment with its carrier.

Bring shipment data into orders

AST PRO connects with supported shipping and fulfillment services, including ShipStation, WooCommerce Shipping, Ordoro, Royal Mail Click & Drop, Sendcloud, Pirate Ship, Stamps.com, and Printful. Tracking can be imported from supported shipping label tools. For recurring file-based updates, schedule CSV imports through FTP or SFTP.

The underlying plugin also accepts tracking entered manually, added through bulk CSV import, or sent through its shipment tracking REST API. It includes more than 1,010 preconfigured carriers, Shipped and Partially Shipped order statuses, and a customizable tracking widget. The plugin works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and Cart and Checkout blocks.

Match carriers and tracking to each shipment

Auto-Detect Carriers uses a tracking number's format to identify the carrier, reducing manual selection. If you need a carrier that is not in the predefined list, AST PRO lets you make one with a custom name, logo, and tracking URL.

Item-Level Tracking assigns tracking numbers to specific order line items and quantities. This lets you keep separate shipment entries when products in one order are fulfilled in different packages.

Review fulfillment and sync payment tracking

The Fulfillment Dashboard provides a centralized view for managing shipments. PayPal Tracking Sync automatically exports tracking information to PayPal, while Stripe Tracking Sync syncs tracking data with Stripe transactions. Custom email templates let you tailor the branded shipping notifications customers receive.

Set up the workflow

1. Install and activate Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce with AST PRO.
2. Configure shipping carriers and connect supported shipping tools.
3. Add tracking manually, receive it through an integration, or import it on a schedule.
4. Use carrier detection and item-level assignment to organize shipment records.
5. Sync tracking with PayPal or Stripe when needed.
6. Review shipments in the fulfillment dashboard and send customized notifications.
