Traffic reports gain campaign and location context
The Creator plan adds UTM campaign tracking, country- and city-level visitor insights, and filters for any dimension. Data archiving options can help manage the statistics stored in your WordPress database. Goal and event tracking can record views, clicks, WordPress hooks, custom events, and conversions.
An optional Search Console integration can display Google search performance in the dashboard. It requires connecting a Google account; Burst retrieves the search data for your website.
WooCommerce sales connect visits with revenue
The Business plan includes Creator functions, plus a full WooCommerce sales dashboard and revenue attribution. This lets store owners review sales and connect them to traffic sources, and see which content brings in revenue.
Agency reports extend analytics to clients
The Agency plan includes Business features and reporting tools for creating shareable performance reports for clients. Every Burst Pro plan includes priority support and direct contact with the developers.
Local storage and optional tracking choices
Site statistics are stored in the WordPress database. Cookieless tracking is available; Burst uses cookies by default. The product is designed to support GDPR, CCPA, DSGVO, AVG, RGPD, and PECR compliance.
Burst does not send visitor or statistics data to Google, Facebook, or other third parties for regular analytics. Two optional features involve external services: Search Console retrieves search performance data after you connect an account, and opt-in anonymous data sharing sends aggregated usage and performance statistics to Burst. That sharing also delivers community performance benchmarks.
The tracking script is under 4 KB, and the extension uses optimized database queries. Weekly or monthly email reports can summarize activity, and notifications can alert you if tracking stops working.
