Route visitor messages to the right team

Contact Form Pro extends a WordPress form builder for feedback, support requests, quotes, job applications, surveys, and other messages. Department routing adds a selection field and sorting process so submissions can be directed by topic or team. Pro includes the free version’s features and adds controls for fields, routing, privacy, email, validation, and styling.

Install and activate the plugin, then make or configure a form in its options. After choosing fields, required options, routing and notification preferences, and privacy or spam controls, place the form on a page, post, or widget with the [bestwebsoft_contact_form] shortcode, or use the Gutenberg block. Send a test email before publishing.

Choose fields and arrange the form

Create unlimited custom fields, add pre-built components such as the e-sign field, and allow file attachments. Set fields as required or optional, and pick whether the name, email, subject, and message fields appear, stay hidden, or are disabled. Default text can pre-fill the subject and message. Phone validation checks number formats, while intelligent auto-fill can populate fields for logged-in users.

Reorder fields with drag and drop, adjust the form width, or choose a two-column layout. That layout depends on the available width of the parent block; when it is too narrow, the form displays in one column. Forms can also appear in a popup, with animation available for the popup. The responsive layout adapts to different screen sizes.

Set privacy, email, and spam controls

Add customizable terms and privacy checkboxes to reflect your site’s privacy requirements. Submissions can go to the default administrator or a custom email address, with copies sent to specified recipients. Email notifications can include sender details such as IP address, timestamp, referral source, and browser or device information. Pro adds a Reply-to email header and customized automatic replies.

For spam protection, use Captcha or reCaptcha and a Honeypot field. Limit Attempts can control how often a visitor submits a form. Google Analytics integration tracks form submissions; when the relevant options are enabled, the extension may connect to Google Analytics servers to process submission information.

Style and review the form

No-code settings control alignment and submit-button design. Tooltips and placeholders can guide visitors through fields. The plugin is also ready for multiple languages and right-to-left layouts.
