Display Facebook comments in WordPress

Facebook Comments Pro extends Social comments by WpDevArt. Enter a Facebook App ID, pick where the comments box appears on pages or posts, and disable it on individual pages or posts when needed.

Configure appearance and placement

Core settings cover the box title, title text color, font size, font family, and title position. You can also set the box width, choose comment ordering and the number of remarks to display, and enter a language code such as en_US or de_DE.

The Pro edition includes a color scheme selector, background color control, a position setting for the comments area, 39 animation effects, and premium support for questions and reported plugin bugs. The title position setting controls the title; the Pro position setting controls the comments area.

Add the box with a shortcode or PHP

Place the [wpdevart_facebook_comment] shortcode on a page or post. Its attributes can set the Facebook App ID, URL, title and title styling, width, background color, animation effect, locale, and comment count. Attribute names include curent_url, title_text_font_famely, locale, and count_of_comments. For programmatic placement, the shortcode can also be added through PHP with do_shortcode().

Install and set up

1. Upload the add-on ZIP file through the WordPress admin installation screen; leave it compressed.
2. Install and activate the add-on.
3. Enter the Facebook App ID in the add-on’s main options and configure the display settings.
4. Add the shortcode to the required pages or posts, or place it through PHP.
