Cresta Social Share Counter PRO extends Cresta Social Share Counter with additional network choices and controls for button appearance. Visitors can share individual posts and pages, while counters can show shares by service and as a total.

Networks and share counts

PRO adds buttons for Mix.com, Buffer, Reddit, VK, OK.ru, Xing, Tumblr, Telegram, and WhatsApp. The standard plugin's feature list names Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Its changelog entries removal of the Google Plus button in version 2.9.6, and removal of Google Plus and LinkedIn share counts in versions 2.7.4 and 2.7.7. Button and count availability varies by service.

Button appearance and interaction

Change button colors and choose from up to 17 styles. PRO also includes up to 30 effect animations, 10 hover button animations, and tooltips that show an additional label when users interact with a button.

Placement on individual content

Choose whether buttons appear on pages, posts, media, and custom post types. Place them before or after content, display floating buttons, or insert them with the [cresta-social-share] shortcode. Floating buttons can be hidden when you want sharing controls only within the content.

The add-on displays buttons on individual posts, pages, and custom post types, not in post lists such as tag pages, category pages, or home feeds. A static homepage can display buttons when the page option is enabled. To use the shortcode in a text widget, the theme must support shortcodes in text widgets.

Setup

Install and activate the plugin, then open its options to select networks, counters, styles, colors, effects, and placement. Add the shortcode where needed or use the content placement settings for selected content types.
