Embedder for Google Reviews Pro adds review selection and display controls to WordPress widgets. Pro can pull all reviews for a business instead of the free version's 20, with filters to narrow which feedback appears. The plugin can retrieve reviews from Google My Business or Google Business Profile and update them automatically. Reviews are saved in the WordPress database.

Choose reviews and widget layouts

Use the rating filter to show 4-star or 5-star reviews. The word filter searches review text for selected terms, including positive words, and filters the results. Pro also includes premium designs and options for customizing the widget's appearance.

Display reviews in a slider for sequential browsing or a grid for a grouped view. Designs can be customized with CSS, and dummy content is available for testing when reviews are not yet available.

Add the widget to a WordPress page

Shortcodes let you place widgets in pages, posts, and supported editors or page builders, including Divi, Classic Editor, Gutenberg, Page Origin, Beaver Builder, and WPBakery. Setup does not require a Google API key, Google Places API key, or Google Place ID, according to the product information.

1. Install and activate the add-on.
2. Search for your local business in the add-on and click Pull reviews.
3. Save the reviews.
4. Copy the shortcode and paste it into the page or post where the widget should appear.
