Backups across local and cloud storage
Everest Backup Pro manages WordPress backups, restoration, migration, and cloning from the WordPress Dashboard. Create backups manually or schedule them for a chosen date and time. Premium options provide more flexible scheduling and automatic retention options for cloud storage.
Google Drive is supported, with add-ons for Dropbox, OneDrive, AWS Amazon S3, pCloud, and Backblaze. Connect a supported service to upload backup files remotely and manage them from the Dashboard. Premium options let you download or delete cloud backup files there without signing in to the storage service separately. One-click rollback from remote cloud storage is also available.
You can configure local backup files to be deleted after a successful cloud upload. Automatic removal from the web server can be set for a selected number of days. Cloud retention settings help manage older remote files, and custom name tags can make backup files easier to identify.
Restore, migrate, or clone a website
Restore a backup from the WordPress Dashboard. For migration or cloning, make a backup on the source website, select it in the Migration tab, and generate a migration key. Copy the key to the destination site, review the information, and start the clone. The add-on also supports backing up and restoring an entire WordPress Multisite network.
Automation and reports
- Trigger a backup after a WooCommerce order.
- Trigger a backup before a WordPress, plugin, or theme update.
- Exclude unused images and media from backup files.
- Receive email notifications and backup status reports, with multiple recipients available.
- Review human-readable logs and advanced reports, including information about the last automatic backup process.
