How can you review upcoming posts?

SchedulePress Pro is a paid scheduling and content workflow tool for WordPress. Its visual editorial calendar shows scheduled and draft content, lets you create posts, and lets you move scheduled posts to another date with drag-and-drop controls. A dashboard widget shows scheduled and draft posts in the WordPress dashboard, so authors and administrators can check their status there.

The shared view can support single-author sites and multi-author blogs. SchedulePress works with multiple authors from one place and can send authors email alerts about blog status. It is designed for writers, editors, marketers, strategists, blog owners, and community managers.

Which scheduling option fits the post?

  • Auto Scheduler: Set rules to schedule content at specified intervals or choose an exact date and time.
  • Manual Scheduler: Choose the precise date and time for a post.
  • Missed Schedule Handler: Automatically publish posts when WordPress misses their scheduled publication time.
  • Advanced Schedule: Schedule an update to a published post or page without drafting or unpublishing it.
  • Date-based sharing: Automatically share selected content on selected dates.

Advanced Schedule can be used for blog and documentation content, including tags, categories, pictures, featured pictures, and excerpts.

How does sharing work?

SchedulePress Pro can automatically share posts when they are published. When the relevant option is enabled, it can also publish a post immediately while displaying a future date. Listed platforms are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Medium, Threads, and Google Business Profile.

Sharing can use a template customized for a platform or a global template in the editor. Choose the social profiles for a post, and share directly without notifications or reminders when that suits the workflow.

Which editors support scheduling?

Scheduling is available through Classic Editor, Gutenberg, and Elementor. In Elementor, you can schedule content from the editor panel, unpublish posts that no longer need to remain live, and republish published posts. A modular control panel lets you enable or disable scheduling from Elementor.

What should you configure before publishing?

Add SchedulePress Pro to your WordPress site, then open its scheduling and social-sharing controls. Choose a publishing method and configure the calendar, author alerts, scheduling rules, or platform-specific sharing settings you need. Review the relevant Pro settings before using missed-schedule handling, recurring dates, advanced updates, or multiple social profiles.
