SEO controls in the WordPress workflow
SiteSEO PRO extends SiteSEO, a WordPress SEO extension designed to work with page builders and themes. An installation wizard guides setup, with many options configured automatically. The universal SEO metabox lets editors update metadata from page or theme builders, while content analysis with unlimited keywords offers guidance as they create or revise content. Metadata can also be imported from other SEO plugins.
SiteSEO works with customizable titles and meta descriptions with dynamic variables, Google Knowledge Graph settings, social previews for Google, Facebook, and X, plus Open Graph and X Cards.
WooCommerce data and performance reports
For WooCommerce, PRO includes enhanced store support, including price and currency meta tags and product XML sitemaps. Google PageSpeed Insights reports on mobile and desktop performance, with Core Web Vitals analysis. AI-assisted utilities generate SEO titles and meta descriptions.
Sitemaps and structured content
SiteSEO can create XML sitemaps for posts, pages, post types, taxonomies, images, and authors, along with an HTML sitemap for accessibility and SEO. PRO adds Google News XML and video sitemaps; it also supports an RSS sitemap for recent feed content.
Structured data helps search engines interpret site content. PRO also delivers breadcrumbs, Dublin Core meta tags, and Local Business schema fields such as address, opening hours, website, and phone number.
Technical settings and monitoring
The robots.txt editor changes virtual robots.txt content and includes shortcuts for common rules. The htaccess editor provides a similar workflow with common rules. 404 monitoring identifies visitors who reach missing pages, so website owners can set redirects where appropriate.
SiteSEO supports Google Indexing API and IndexNow integrations for URL notifications. Search Statistics brings Google Search Console performance insights into SiteSEO and includes automatic website and sitemap submission. Custom tracking code for Google Tag Manager or Facebook Pixel can be added through analytics settings, with separate fields for head and body placement.
Setup and compatibility
Install SiteSEO in WordPress and follow the wizard. Then review the universal SEO metabox, sitemap options, social settings, and the PRO tools relevant to the site. The add-on supports WordPress multisite and is described as GDPR compliant.
