ThinkRank Pro is the paid edition of ThinkRank, an AI SEO plugin for WordPress. It extends the plugin’s core tools for metadata, schema, XML sitemaps, robots controls, social metadata, local SEO, and search insights with monitoring and automation. Its built-in, self-hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets compatible assistants operate supported SEO functions from a chat window after an administrator enables and connects the service.

The tools are intended for website owners, publishers, agencies, WooCommerce stores, local businesses, and teams managing SEO across many pages.

Connect an assistant when needed

ThinkRank delivers more than 35 SEO tools over MCP. Depending on the connected assistant, supported tasks include metadata updates, schema changes, sitemap and robots options, image SEO, social metadata, instant indexing, llms.txt, SEO scores, and opportunity reviews. Example requests include drafting a title and meta description, finding posts without metadata, adding FAQ schema, or locating pages with high impressions and low click-through rates.

MCP is off until an administrator enables it. Connections can be revoked with one click, and the plugin includes a connection health check and dry-run previews for SEO imports. Users provide their own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter.

Migration and site compatibility

The Setup Wizard can import supported data from Rank Math, Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, and SEOPress, including metadata, schema, sitemap settings, image SEO, and title formats. It can also import selected settings such as Knowledge Graph details, breadcrumb settings, and social defaults. Deactivation of the previous SEO plugin is part of the migration workflow.

ThinkRank works with Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, Breakdance, and the Classic Editor. It supports WPML, Polylang, and TranslatePress for multilingual websites, with hreflang support for WPML and Polylang.

Set up the workflow

Install ThinkRank on the WordPress site and use the Setup Wizard to configure settings or migrate supported SEO data. Enable the Pro tools needed for the workflow, then set site identity, metadata, schema, sitemap, and analytics preferences. To use an assistant, connect through the guided OAuth 2.1 flow or an Application Password with the ready-made configuration. Review permissions, connection health, and previews before applying automated changes.
