Create and publish WordPress assessments

Watu PRO lets you create quizzes, exams, tests, surveys, polls, and questionnaires for education, training, assessment, and feedback. Show results when a participant finishes, then use points and grading rules to turn their answers into an outcome.

Add an assessment to a post or page with a shortcode, or use automatic publishing. Choose whether answers appear after each selection or at the end of the quiz.

Choose questions and their order

Use single-choice, multiple-choice, open-ended essay, required, and survey questions. Survey questions can omit correct and incorrect states. Group questions into categories and filter by category, deactivate questions, randomize their order, or select random questions from a pool. Grades can also represent personality types.

Set grades and review results

Assign points to answers and point levels to grades. Watu PRO totals the points earned and uses that score to determine a grade. Review the list of participants and their results with reports and data analysis. Export results to CSV for use outside WordPress, or import questions from a CSV file when preparing a larger question set.

Manage participants and delivery

Pro capabilities include student logins. Administrators can receive a notification when someone takes a quiz, and quiz takers can receive their results by email. Schedule a quiz for a defined date and time interval. The mobile and touch friendly interface works with quizzes on phones and other mobile devices.

Results can load with Ajax, with an option to use regular loading instead. Quiz results can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. A basic bar chart can compare a participant’s points with the average points for that quiz.

Privacy and email integration

Privacy-related features include not storing IP addresses and a personal data eraser hook for WordPress utilities. MailChimp connection is available through the Watu to MailChimp Bridge.

Get started

Install Watu PRO in WordPress, then open Watu Quizzes in the dashboard. Create an assessment, add questions and categories, and configure points, grades, answer show, notifications, and scheduling. Publish it in a post or page with a shortcode, or select automatic publishing.
