Define fields and store repeatable data
Custom Fields Creator sets up metaboxes for posts, pages, and custom post types. Available field types include WYSIWYG editor, upload, text, textarea, choose, checkbox, radio, number, HTML, time-picker, phone, currency select, color picker, and heading. WCK PRO adds date-picker, country select, visitor select, and CPT select fields.
Assign fields to selected page templates, custom post types, or individual IDs. Repeater Fields and Repeater Groups hold repeatable information, and repeater fields can be sorted with drag and drop. Image and file uploads use the WordPress Media Uploader; data handling uses Ajax. Field slugs are generated from their titles, so stored values can be referenced in code or displayed with Swift Templates.
Create post types and taxonomies
Custom Post Type Creator offers an admin interface for creating and editing post types, with advanced labeling settings and most of the arguments used by register_post_type(). You can attach built-in or custom taxonomies to post types. Taxonomy Creator lets you create and edit taxonomies, then attach them to built-in or custom post types.
Build front-end processes
- Swift Templates: Build templates in the WordPress admin without writing PHP template code. Display registered custom post types, fields, and taxonomies in the current theme.
- Front-end Posting: Create forms for content creation and editing.
- Options Page Creator: Create option pages for a theme or extension.
Start by defining the content structure, then assign fields and taxonomies. Swift Templates can present the resulting content, while Front-end Posting can support its creation and editing.
