WordPress plugin
WP Links PRO
WP Links PRO applies settings to links in posts, pages, comments, widgets, and other rendered content. Choose whether links open in a new window or tab, set follow or nofollow behavior, and add noopener, noreferrer, ugc (User Generated Content), or sponsored to the rel attribute. You can also set link titles and CSS classes. FontAwesome and Dashicons can show icons for internal or external links according to your settings.
Set behavior for internal and external links

The plugin filters links in rendered output, leaving content stored in the database unchanged. Deactivating the plugin leaves that content as it was before filtering.
Choose which links receive settings
Link Rules let you apply various settings to selected link groups. A template tag can apply plugin settings to specific content. The data-wpel-link attribute can mark a link as external, internal, or exclude; you can also set it yourself to influence how a link is handled. The value ignore excludes the link from processing.
Review links and external clicks
The Link Scanner checks links across the website and reports whether they are broken or redirected, their target and rel attribute, and the page containing each link. Scan a complete page or focus on posts, comments, or widgets. Exit Confirmation includes a confirmation step when visitors click external links.
Configure network and custom behavior
Network settings support WPMU installations. Built-in actions and filters let developers adapt link handling for website-specific needs, while administrators can set broader defaults.
Set up and check your rules
Install and activate the plugin, then open its administration page to configure internal and external link behavior, attributes, and icons. Add Link Rules or template tags for more specific handling. After saving, check representative posts, comments, and widgets, and use the Link Scanner to review link destinations, status, and attributes.
