Choose controls for login, content, and form design
WPEPP Pro adds security, access, and styling settings to the WPEPP dashboard in WordPress. A custom login URL changes where users sign in; TOTP and reCAPTCHA add verification steps; content controls determine who can view a website or selected material. The visual editor lets you review form changes in a live preview before saving.
Change the login route and verify sign-ins
Choose a custom URL slug to replace the standard wp-login.php address. When the custom URL is enabled, the default address returns a 404 error. You can choose a destination page for users after a successful login and generate secure, one-time auto-login links for specific users.
Two-factor authentication uses TOTP. Users scan a QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or another TOTP app to set it up. The implementation follows RFC 6238, offers eight one-time recovery codes, and can be required for selected user roles.
Google reCAPTCHA can be added to login and registration forms. Setup requires the relevant Site Key and Secret Key. Login and registration honeypots, configurable login attempt limits, IP-based tracking, and IP lockouts after repeated failed attempts provide additional controls. Registration rate limiting helps control mass sign-up submissions.
Set access rules for the website and its content
Site access control can require visitors to log in before viewing the site. For more specific restrictions, Pro content locking applies to individual posts or pages from the editor sidebar. The Member Only page template shows a login form to logged-out visitors and displays the page content after they log in.
Conditional Display controls whether content blocks appear according to login status, user role, device type, and other available conditions. Protected content can also have an auto-expiry date, which is useful for access that should end at a set time.
Style login and password forms
The visual editor can set the login page background to a color, gradient, image, or video. You can upload a custom logo and adjust the form, input fields, buttons, links, and error messages. Changes appear in the live preview before you save them. Pro adds styling controls for registration and lost-password pages.
Password-protected content can use branded forms with custom header and description text, button and label text, input placeholders, error messages, and social media icons. The paid edition adds two password form styles. The extension includes more than 10 one-click templates overall.
Additional security tools
The AI crawler blocker provides a checklist of known bots, including GPTBot, CCBot, and Google-Extended. Preview selected rules before adding them to the site's robots.txt file. Pro also includes a login activity log.
