Organize projects and publish galleries
Create a dedicated portfolio post for each project, with a title, description, featured image, categories, and tags. Publish the entries using the Portfolio block, shortcodes, or a supported page builder, then place the reusable layout on pages or other supported content areas. Drag and drop to set item order independently of dates or menu order.
Choose how users view the work
Visitors can filter items by category, with smooth isotope animations between results. Choose a grid with overlay, masonry with varied image heights, or a traditional columns layout. Galleries adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
The built-in lightbox opens high-resolution pictures in a popup. Thumbnail settings include portrait, cinema, square, and uncropped aspect ratios. You can also show blog posts in a portfolio grid when articles belong in your professional work or project archive.
Use video and private proofing
Add videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted MP4 files. Video lightboxes let visitors watch projects in a popup. Video backgrounds on hover add motion to portfolio items using Giphy or self-hosted videos.
For client reviews, create a private proofing gallery and share it through a secret link. Clients can select photos for approval, and you can manage those selections from the WordPress dashboard. Keeping proofing galleries separate from the public portfolio helps organize review work.
Adjust the presentation
Set overlay and text colors, along with hover effects, to match the gallery to your visual identity. Portfolio PRO also includes priority support from the WPZOOM team for portfolio-related help.
Installation and setup
Install WPZOOM Portfolio PRO on your WordPress website and open its portfolio tools in the dashboard. Create portfolio items, add project information and media, organize them with categories or tags, and pick a layout. Publish the gallery with the Portfolio block, a shortcode, or a supported page builder. For video projects, add the YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted MP4 source, then adjust lightbox, hover, and color settings for the page.
