Custom login address

Admin Login URL Change Pro assigns a custom slug to the WordPress login form by intercepting page requests, without changing core files. A less familiar address can reduce exposure to automated requests aimed at the default login paths. The extension is described as compatible with native WordPress login flows and WooCommerce checkout and account logins.

Access rules and retry limits

• IP and CIDR blocking: Block individual IP addresses or complete CIDR ranges from accessing the custom login page. Configure auto-ban thresholds, ban durations, and email alerts.
• Country restrictions: Restrict login access to selected countries using a live, searchable database covering more than 200 global regions.
• Login attempt limits: Set maximum retries, retry windows, lockout durations, and warning alerts.

Verification and login activity

Two-factor authentication includes a second verification step using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator, or Email OTP. Email alerts can notify you of successful and failed logins with the IP address, username, and timestamp. The expanded audit log includes user-agent details and stores up to 500 entries.

Setup and testing

Basic setup does not require coding. Install and activate the plugin, then open the Admin Login Slug menu in the WordPress dashboard. Enter a custom slug, such as madmin, and choose Save Settings. Bookmark the new login address and test it. After confirming that it works, configure the Pro controls you need and keep the address available to authorized visitors.
