Choose a track or build a playlist

Audio Player Block Pro lets you configure audio in the Gutenberg editor while working on the WordPress post or page where the player will appear. Select one file for a standalone recording or add multiple files to make a playlist. Tracks can include a title, artist name, and cover picture.

Smart play and pause control allows one track to play at a time and automatically pauses other tracks. Five customizable themes provide various player looks and options.

Set playlist playback and navigation

Auto Play starts the next song when the current one ends. Loop Mode repeats the current track after it finishes, and previous and next controls move through the playlist.

  • Display the current and total time for each track.
  • Show or conceal a custom stop button.
  • Choose playback speed options.
  • Show a download icon for saving the audio file.
  • Use forward and backward buttons to skip within a track.

Adjust the player's appearance

Pro styling controls include the thumbnail border and radius, seek bar height and radius, thumb width, outline, and shadow. You can also set the controls border and hover border, time show radius, artist opacity, waveform colors, and playlist border and radius.

The player also supports width and height adjustments, colors, backgrounds, hover effects, track details, cover images, and audio uploads. These settings can help the player fit an album, episode collection, lesson series, or article narration into the surrounding page.

Use audio across your content

Musicians and bands can present albums or singles with cover art. Podcasters can add episodes to posts and pages, course creators can include audio lessons or narration, and bloggers can provide an audio version of an article.

A shortcode can place the same configured player outside its block location, wherever shortcode content is supported.

Add and configure the block

Install and activate the Audio Player Block extension, then open a post or page in the Gutenberg editor. In the Widgets block category, add Audio Player Block. Upload audio files and a cover image, enter the title and artist information for each track, and arrange the playlist.

Use the settings sidebar to pick a theme, set playback behavior, and adjust the player's dimensions and appearance. Publish the post or page when the player is ready, or use the shortcode option to place it in another supported location.
