SEO Redirection PRO: Redirects and 404 Logs in WordPress
SEO Redirection PRO manages URL changes from the WordPress dashboard. Create and track 301, 302, and 307 redirects for migrations, permalink changes, redesigns, and ongoing maintenance. When a post or page URL changes, the extension can make a redirect from its previous address to the updated one. Rules run inside WordPress, without .htaccess edits or FTP access.

Redirect rules and entry points
Create a rule for one URL, match several with wildcards or regular expressions, or redirect a folder and its contents with one rule. The plugin also handles index.php, index.html, and index.htm paths. Add a redirect from a post or page editor using the Redirection Box, or from the WordPress administration toolbar.
- Set redirects according to login status or referrer, or send users to random pages when needed.
- Handle emoji and international URLs, including campaign links with parameters such as fbclid, utm_source, gclid, and msclkid.
- Check for redirect loops when rules are saved and while they run.
Because redirects are handled inside WordPress, the plugin can run on Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, IIS, and other servers that run WordPress; server-specific redirect configuration is not required.
404 logs and user details
The plugin automatically discovers and logs 404 hits. Review broken addresses in WordPress and turn a selected 404 into a redirect with one click. The log can help you address 404 and soft 404 issues reported in Google Search Console.
Available details can include an IP address, browser, operating system, country, and referrer. Configure IP logging to store full, partial, or no IP data according to the requirements of your jurisdiction.
History, statistics, and migration
Review hit counts and the last-access time for individual redirects. Redirect history is searchable, sortable, and exportable, while per-redirect statistics display when, where, and how often a URL was accessed.
Import rules from the Redirection plugin, or use full import and export to synchronize staging and production environments. WPML integration supports multilingual sites.
Installation and compatibility
Manage rules from the plugin dashboard after adding SEO Redirection PRO to a WordPress site. The compatibility listing covers WordPress 4.1 through 6.9+ and PHP 7.0 through 8.4. The PRO edition includes priority support.
