Review and update the cart
The sidebar cart can open when a shopper adds a product or selects its icon. It can display product names, images, prices, and quantities, along with the subtotal and total. The subtotal excludes tax and shipping. Shoppers can change quantities, remove products, update the cart, apply coupons, open the cart page, or continue to checkout. Coupon messages report whether a coupon was applied and give a reason when it could not be used.
Related products can appear below the cart, with best-selling, recently viewed, or top-rated products available as settings. You can choose which pages show the sidebar cart.
Sidebar and menu cart controls
The sidebar cart has full-height and pop-up styles, four position options, eight trigger-event styles, and 12 loading types. Its icon can show the number of products in the cart. The menu cart can appear in selected menus, show a dropdown when visitors hover over its icon, and direct visitors to either the cart or checkout page when clicked. You can choose whether it shows the product quantity, total price, or both, and whether the price is the subtotal or total.
Both cart icons offer 45 choices. Settings let you adjust icon and hover colors, text color, and other display details. The sidebar cart also has controls for its position, size, colors, and styling for the header, product list, and footer.
Add products while browsing
AJAX add-to-cart can add products from single product pages or quick-view pop-ups without reloading the page; you can exclude products from this option. For variable products, an add-to-cart button on archive pages opens a pop-up where shoppers select variations and quantity before adding the item. They do not need to open the single product page for this flow, and you can change the button label.
Pro product and checkout functions
The sticky add-to-cart button stays available on single product pages as shoppers browse. Products and categories can be excluded. You can select a product to preview the design, choose from four templates, set the button position, and control whether ratings and quantity appear. Other options adjust text, background, icon, image width, button size, and border radius.
Recently viewed products can appear on a single product page or elsewhere through a shortcode. The Pro checkout area puts checkout steps in the sidebar cart, so shoppers can complete checkout without first visiting the separate checkout page. You can change step titles, select available icons, and adjust the background, icon, button, and border-radius settings.
Setup
Install WooCommerce on the WordPress site, then install CartSuite and configure the cart elements in its settings. If you use conditional tags, enter only tags that have been validated or provided by trusted developers. The plugin uses eval() to handle WordPress conditional tags.
