Charitable Pro is the paid edition of Charitable, a donation and fundraising platform for WordPress. It combines campaign forms and donor management with additional email marketing and payment integrations, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, and automated workflows.

Donation forms and campaign placement

Start with a pre-built campaign template or use the drag-and-drop form builder. Forms can offer suggested donation amounts, accept custom amounts, collect donor details, and include customized donate buttons. They can handle one-time donations, while recurring schedules are available through the Recurring Donations extension. Campaign donation goals can appear in a donation widget.

Display a form in a popup, on its own page, in a site widget, or alongside its campaign. Use [campaigns] to display a campaign grid or [charitable_donation_form] to embed a particular campaign's form.

Campaign features and supporter fundraising

Create unlimited fundraising campaigns, including time-sensitive campaigns that end automatically. Campaigns can show fundraising goals, donor totals, donor comments, donation updates, and fundraising videos.

For peer-to-peer fundraising, the Ambassadors extension lets supporters raise donations through their own fundraising pages. The Fee Relief extension lets donors choose to cover payment processing fees, with calculation options for various gateways.

Payment and recurring donation options

The supplied payment options include Stripe, PayPal, and Square. Stripe can accept credit card donations on the site; PayPal redirects donors to PayPal to complete payment. The Offline Donations gateway supports cheque or bank transfer payments and can display payment details to donors.

The Recurring Donations extension supports monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual schedules. Its supplied payment integrations include PayPal, Stripe, Braintree, Authorize.Net, and PayFast.

Email integrations and donor records

Newsletter Connect supports connections with Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite, MailPoet, and Mailster. Charitable Pro also includes automated workflows for fundraising operations.

Use the dashboard to review donation history and campaign goal progress. Donor profiles can highlight top contributors, and annual tax-deductible donation receipts support end-of-year reporting. Personalized donor communications are also part of the donor management workflow.

Install and activate Charitable Pro on a WordPress site, then make a campaign or choose a pre-built template. Configure donation amounts, donor fields, goals, buttons, and form placement. Connect the payment, recurring donation, peer-to-peer, or email marketing extensions needed for the campaign, then publish it and place its form on the site.
