Add a signature field to a form

Digital Signature For Contact Form 7 adds a signature pad to Contact Form 7 forms. Visitors can draw with a mouse or touch screen, then clear the drawing and try again before submitting.

In the Contact Form 7 form interface, use the digital_signature button to add the field. You can set whether it is required, pick pen and background colors, and add a custom class and ID for styling or identification.

Shortcode options control the drawing area

The shortcode names the field and sets its pen color, background color, width and height. For example:

[signature signature-100 color:#fffff backcolor:#00000 width:400 height:200]

These settings let you choose the pad dimensions and colors for the form.

Pro and Premium add fields and attachments

The Pro and Premium editions support multiple signature fields in one form, so various people can sign or a form can have separate signing areas. They also support adjustable pad dimensions.

To include a signature as an email attachment, add the signature field name to the form's file attachments. The signature can then be sent with the form email.

Install Contact Form 7 before adding a signature

Install and activate Contact Form 7, then install and activate Digital Signature For Contact Form 7. Open a form and add a signature field with the available control or shortcode. Set its required status and appearance. If the signature should go with the email, add the field name to file attachments.

The add-on includes translations such as Chinese, Dutch, Russian and Spanish, and accepts contributions for additional translations.
