WordPress plugin
Duplicator Pro
Duplicator Pro puts a WordPress site's files and database into a portable backup package. Use the migration wizard to install it at another host, domain, or server, including an empty destination without a separate WordPress setup. A package can also make a site copy for staging or restore a saved backup from the dashboard.

Fit the backup to the site and server
Build a full site package or choose components such as plugins, themes, or media for a custom backup. The chunked engine divides the work into smaller steps to support larger websites on shared hosting with strict server timeouts. Choose an archive engine that suits the server: DupArchive, ZipArchive, or shell zip. Database options include mysqldump and chunked PHP.
Backups can create in the background while you continue working. AutoTune runs test backups to find settings for the hosting environment. Before each backup, Duplicator checks the server configuration and explains problems in plain language, with a one-click fix where available. Password protection and AES-256 archive encryption are available, and the security status of each backup is visible.
Schedule copies and choose storage
Set recurring backups to run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, and save templates to reuse backup settings. Duplicator Pro connects to Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Amazon S3, FTP/SFTP, and S3-compatible storage providers. Send a backup to several destinations at once.
Use packages for staging and multisite
Clone a site to prepare a staging environment, or use one-click restore from the WordPress dashboard without FTP or a manual installer upload. For WordPress multisite, Duplicator Pro can back up or migrate a network, include selected subsites, install a subsite as a standalone site, or import a site into a network.
Set up a migration
Install Duplicator Pro in WordPress and open its tools from the dashboard. Create a package using the archive and database settings suited to the server, or configure scheduled backups and storage for recurring copies. For a migration, download or store the package, install it at the destination, and follow the migration wizard.
