Calculate prices from product measurements

Flexible Quantity Calculator for WooCommerce PRO adds measurement-based pricing for products sold by item, weight, length, area, volume, or another defined unit. Set a unit price and quantity rules, then the calculator uses the configured unit and measurements to work out the product price. When pricing depends on dimensions entered by the customer, the calculated price can appear upfront on the product page.

Choose units and quantity rules

Use measurement settings such as grams, kilograms, and pounds; millimetres, centimetres, and metres; square metres and square feet; and millilitres, litres, gallons, or cubic units. PRO also lets you define custom units such as a box, bundle, or pallet.

Set minimum and maximum product quantities and increments, including decimal values. These settings can apply to a standard item quantity or a new unit of measure. Inventory can also be calculated using the new unit.

Configure dimensions and pricing

Enable dimension fields and set names and labels that describe the measurements. Use fixed dimension values or let clients enter them on the product page. Choose a unit for each dimension, set minimum and maximum values, and define increments for the pricing calculation. Add or conceal dimensions to match the product.

Set a dynamic price per quantity or use a pricing table for ranges. The calculator works with product variations.

Set shipping and connect product data

Assign a shipping class based on product quantity when shipping depends on how much a customer orders. The PRO capabilities also support flexible shipping costs with quantity-based product pricing.

The calculator works with custom fields from Flexible Product Fields. It is also compatible with Flexible PDF Invoices for WooCommerce & WordPress, which can display new units of measure on WooCommerce PDF invoices.

Set up a product

Install the PRO edition, then configure the calculator for the products sold by measurement. Choose the unit, enable the needed dimensions, set their labels and limits, define increments, and configure pricing or shipping rules. Review the product page to confirm that the customer inputs and calculated price fit the way the product is sold.
