When a case study appears among blog posts or a landing page is assigned to Pages, Post Type Transfer Pro lets you change its WordPress post type from the dashboard. It works with Posts, Pages, and registered custom post types, including types created by extensions or themes, such as WooCommerce products and types made with ACF or CPT UI.

A transfer changes the post type classification while retaining the existing content, metadata, and settings. Pro taxonomy controls let you keep taxonomies, map them to new ones, or register a fresh taxonomy during a transfer. Depending on the post type configuration, a transfer may change the permalink. Create a 301 redirect if the URL changes to preserve inbound links.

Transfer one post or a group

To transfer one post, open it in the editor, find the Post Type section in the sidebar, choose the target type, and click Update. Quick Edit offers the same choice from the listing screen without opening the full editor. For a group, select multiple posts, open Bulk Edit, choose the target type, and click Update. Registered WordPress post types are available for transfer, including those added by plugins and themes.

Arrange posts for show

Drag-and-drop reordering lets you arrange posts within a post type from the administration listing. AutoSort mirrors the custom back-end order on the front end. The advanced reorder interface lets you pin posts, move items to the top or bottom, undo changes, and save or reset the order. Page builder support includes Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other major page builders when content reordering is required.

Duplicate and manage content

Create a draft copy of a post and choose whether to include its title, content, excerpt, custom fields, taxonomies, and featured picture. The Pro edition also includes the core extension features: CSV export and import, post visibility controls, and translation support. Exports can include titles, content, featured image URLs, categories, tags, and original publication dates. Import an exported CSV to recreate posts on another WordPress site or move them between post types on the same installation. Visibility controls let you keep posts published while hiding them from selected parts of the site.
