PayPal checkout across the store

Payment methods depend on availability
Customers can pay with PayPal funds, PayPal Credit, credit or debit cards, and available Pay Later offers. Smart Checkout can detect a customer's country or device and display payment methods available for that context. Supported alternatives can include Bancontact, BLIK, eps, iDEAL, MyBank, Pay upon Invoice, and Przelewy24.
Guest card checkout lets customers pay by card through PayPal without leaving the website. In-Context checkout keeps customers inside the store during checkout.
Order handling and subscriptions
- Capture later: Capture an authorized PayPal payment after authorization.
- Manage refunds: Issue full or partial refunds from the WooCommerce order administration page.
- Subscription support: Use the supported WooCommerce Subscriptions integration or Subscriptions for WooCommerce by ThemeHigh.
Button and checkout options
Choose which PayPal payment settings customers see, then configure available Smart Checkout button settings such as label, color, shape, layout, size, and position. Other controls include selecting a PayPal locale, setting an Express Checkout cancellation page, adding an invoice prefix, and skipping the order review page. Shortcode support lets you add the PayPal Express button where needed. PayPal Standard can also be enabled.
Set up the payment flow
Install and activate the add-on on the WordPress website running WooCommerce. In the extension's payment settings, connect and configure the PayPal checkout options, then choose the payment methods and button presentation for the store. Enable the product-page, mini-cart, subscription, capture, refund, locale, or shortcode options you need, and test checkout before making it available to customers.
