Poll Maker Pro is a WordPress extension for creating polls and collecting votes, feedback, and audience preferences. Add a poll to a post, page, or sidebar widget so visitors can respond where they are already reading.

Poll formats and question content

Choose from seven formats: choosing, rating, voting, dropdown, range, versus, and text. Dropdown, range, versus, and text polls are available in Pro. Rating polls use stars or emojis, while voting polls can use like or dislike responses or emojis. Range polls accept a value from 1 to 100, versus polls compare two people or products, and text polls accept short answers or paragraphs. A Pro option can let participants add a custom answer to a choosing poll.

Write and format questions in the WordPress classic editor. A question can include picture, video, or audio content, or a shortcode from another plugin.

Participation and results

Configure access for logged-in users or selected WordPress visitor roles, and limit repeat votes. Vote limits can use an IP address, WordPress user ID, cookie, or a combination of cookie and IP. Pro includes multivote, anonymous polls, password-protected polls, and custom information forms that can appear before or after a response.

Review live results, notify an administrator by email when a vote is submitted, and use Pro chart results or CSV export to examine responses. Chart formats include bar, pie, and column charts.

Style and publish a poll

Choose from seven ready-made themes, including four available in Pro, and adjust the design with more than 30 style settings for colors, images, borders, and backgrounds.

To publish, create a poll, select its format, enter the question and answers, configure its settings and design, then save it. Copy the generated shortcode, such as [ays_poll id='your_poll_id'], into a WordPress post or page.
