Turn Images into Interactive Product Displays

Shoppable Images for WooCommerce Pro extends the Shoppable Images (Lookbook) extension with premium tools for creating picture-based product and page links. Place hotspots over an image, connect each hotspot to a WooCommerce product or any page, and present the result on posts, pages, or elsewhere in your theme.

The workflow is designed to take place from the WordPress admin in three steps. Start with an image, add the hotspots you need, and configure what each hotspot opens. The result can be inserted into posts or pages with shortcodes, or added in a theme through PHP. This makes the same shoppable-image approach suitable for editorial content and theme layouts.

Link Hotspots to Products or Pages

Each hotspot can point users to a product or to any page. For WooCommerce stores, the Pro edition includes support for variable products, making it possible to connect hotspots to products that use variations. A button can also automatically add products to the cart without a page reload.

These settings support image-led product presentations such as lookbooks, product scenes, and other visual layouts where several items are shown together. Instead of separating every entry into its own image, you can place multiple hotspots on one image and give each one its own destination or product action.

Customize Tags and Popups

Pro settings provide more control over the appearance and behavior of the interactive tags. Adjust tag colors and sizes, choose between multiple tag icons, and add tag pulse animations to make hotspots more noticeable. Popup animations can be used to create a smoother opening effect.

You can also choose whether a popup opens on click or on hover. Click-based interaction gives visitors a deliberate way to inspect a hotspot, while hover-based opening delivers an alternative for layouts where pointer interaction is preferred. These controls let you adapt the hotspot experience to the image and the surrounding page content.

Use as Many Images as Needed

The Pro edition supports unlimited pictures. Build a single interactive image for a focused presentation or create multiple shoppable images for a larger collection of visual content. Each image can contain different hotspots linked to products or pages, so the layout can be organized around separate scenes, categories, or page sections.

Images can be placed in posts and pages with shortcodes. If the layout belongs inside a theme, the add-on can also be added through PHP. This provides two stated placement methods while keeping the hotspot configuration managed from the WordPress admin.

WooCommerce and WordPress Requirements

The plugin is compatible with WooCommerce 3.6 or higher when WooCommerce is used. The listed requirements are PHP 5.6 or higher and WordPress 3.7 or higher. WooCommerce is optional for general image hotspots that link to pages or other destinations, while product-focused functions use the WooCommerce integration.

Installation and Setup

Install the Pro edition in a WordPress site that meets the listed requirements, then create a shoppable image from the WordPress admin. Add the image, position the hotspots, choose a product or page for each hotspot, and adjust tag, icon, animation, popup, and cart settings as needed.

When the image is ready, place it in a post or page with its shortcode, or add it to a theme through PHP. For a WooCommerce show, test the product links, variable-product selection, and automatic cart action before publishing the finished image.
