Staatic Premium

Staatic crawls a WordPress site and captures the pages and assets it discovers, including HTML, pictures, CSS, and JavaScript. Editors continue managing posts, pages, menus, media, and settings in WordPress. The resulting publication can be deployed as prebuilt files, so WordPress, PHP, and a database do not need to handle each user request.

Staatic Premium

From WordPress pages to static files

Staatic crawls a WordPress site and captures the pages and assets it discovers, including HTML, pictures, CSS, and JavaScript. Editors continue managing posts, pages, menus, media, and settings in WordPress. The resulting publication can be deployed as prebuilt files, so WordPress, PHP, and a database do not need to handle each user request.

Staatic Premium extends this publishing process with forms and search integrations, scheduled publications, change-based publications, additional automation, and deployment settings for Staatic Cloud. Staatic Cloud delivers managed static WordPress hosting. The Community edition works with generating and deploying a static site yourself.

Build and deploy a publication

A crawl starts at the site's front page or a configured Custom Origin URL. You can add URLs or paths, then review the captured output before deployment. Start publications in WordPress Admin to see their status, logs, resource details, and downloadable output, or use the WP-CLI command for a command-line workflow.

Choose a deployment target: Local Directory, Amazon S3 or S3-compatible storage, GitHub, Netlify, SFTP, or a zip archive. Publication settings include redirects, custom 404 pages, exclude rules, and HTTP headers.

Control what gets published

  • Add URLs and paths that the crawl should include.
  • Set exclude rules for content that should stay out of the publication.
  • Configure redirects, a custom 404 page, and HTTP headers for the static output.
  • Use Premium's forms and search integrations, publication schedules, change-based publishing, and additional automation.

Staatic works with WordPress Multisite, WPML, and WordPress origins protected by HTTP Basic Auth. Integration hooks and compatibility improvements support common WordPress setups.

Where static delivery fits

Visitors receive files that WordPress has already generated, which can reduce work at the WordPress origin during public requests. The public delivery path can also remain separate from the WordPress administration area and database-backed page generation.

Features that rely on server-side processing, personalized data, native comments, some search implementations, forms that post back to WordPress, eCommerce flows, or membership areas may need a static-compatible service, a client-side integration, or a hybrid architecture. Premium includes ready-made integrations for forms and search.

Start a publication

Install Staatic in WordPress, configure the origin and any additional URLs or paths, and choose a deployment target. Start a publication in WordPress Admin or with WP-CLI, then review its status, logs, and resource details before deploying the output. Premium and Cloud customers can configure the integrations, schedules, change-based publications, automation, or managed hosting available to their edition.
