Arrange data and choose a layout
Use the WYSIWYG editor to create tables and add unlimited rows and columns. Drag and drop to rearrange rows or columns, then choose a default or custom styling and a standard, purple, or black color scheme. Floating modes include block, left, and inline-block; you can also toggle the full-width option. Tables can be deleted and removed from the database.
The plugin includes schema markup, also called microdata, to structure table content for search-oriented use. This supports SEO use cases, though search engines decide how content appears in results. The product information also describes the layouts as responsive, compatible with AMP, and built with lightweight, W3C-valid code.
Save and publish with a shortcode
After creating and naming a table, save it and copy its shortcode. Paste the shortcode into a Gutenberg Shortcode block or the classic WordPress editor to place the table in a post or page. The shortcode can also be used in widgets and custom page types.
Create your first table
- Install the add-on and open the Superb Table section in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Select Add New Table, enter your table data, and add rows or columns as needed.
- Choose the colors, design, floating mode, and full-width setting.
- Name and save the table, then copy its shortcode into the desired post or page.
Tables are created in the editor. The listed workflow does not include importing tables from Excel or other file formats, or exporting them.
