When maintenance mode is enabled, logged-out visitors see the temporary page while logged-in customers can access the site. Coming soon and Maintenance mode Pro adds controls for the page’s appearance, countdown, subscriber form, and visibility.

Choose a background and arrange the page

Set a background color or picture, or use the background slider or a YouTube video. YouTube video backgrounds are unavailable on mobile devices, and the setting takes the video ID rather than the full video URL. You can mute or unmute the video.

Upload a logo and adjust its position, top spacing, and maximum dimensions. Set the title's position, color, font, and top spacing, and choose a position for the message. Place the content area in one of nine positions, then adjust its background color, transparency, border radius, maximum width, padding, and margin. Reorder page components with drag and drop. Choose from 39 animation effects and set their waiting time. The add-on includes 31 built-in fonts for titles, countdowns, the admin link, and subscription form text.

Set the countdown and progress bar

Choose a button, circle, or vertical slider countdown. Configure its date, position, distance from the top, colors, border radius, size, border width, font size, and font family. When the countdown expires, you can conceal the countdown or disable the under-construction page.

Configure subscriptions and social links

Customize the subscribe form’s field and button text, position, spacing, font, and colors. Set the input border and radius, placeholder color, and messages shown after submission, including messages for invalid or already submitted email addresses. Pro can send email notifications to subscribed users.

Set social button links and upload your own button images. Adjust their position, dimensions, top spacing, and spacing between buttons, and choose whether social websites open in a new window. You can also configure the admin link’s text, color, font, and position, and set a favicon.

Set where maintenance mode appears

Exclude specific pages and posts from the under-construction display, and disable the extension for specified IP addresses.

Install the plugin

In WordPress, upload the plugin ZIP file without extracting it, then install and activate the plugin. Open its settings, choose a background type, enter a YouTube video ID if applicable, and configure the page elements, countdown, subscription form, and visibility settings.
