WP WooCommerce Mailchimp Pro gives stores more control over how WooCommerce customers and purchases map to Mailchimp membership. Set when an order triggers a subscription, then use product and variation rules for items that need various lists, interest groups, tags, or merge fields.
Apply different Mailchimp rules to products and variations
Assign lists, interest groups, and tags to individual products. Variable products can use separate mappings for each variation, such as monthly and annual options or different sizes. Map WooCommerce order, customer, or product fields to Mailchimp merge fields without writing code. Global defaults provide the starting rules, while product and variation options can override them.
Choose when an order triggers a subscription
Customers can be sent to Mailchimp after order creation, processing, or completion. Checkout opt-in settings can use a quiet or consent-based process, depending on the shop’s configuration. You can enable Mailchimp double opt-in and control whether a double opt-in email is sent. The checkout checkbox can have a custom label and default checked or unchecked state; its placement can be set for the classic checkout.
In block-based checkout, the opt-in checkbox renders natively and follows WooCommerce’s checkout styling. Traditional shortcode checkout is also supported, including checkbox placement controls.
Keep subscription membership aligned with subscription status
The WooCommerce Subscriptions integration synchronizes Mailchimp membership with active, cancelled, and expired subscription states. When a subscription expires, configure whether to unsubscribe the customer, remove tags, or remove interest groups.
Set up the integration
Install the add-on on a website that meets the stated requirements: PHP 7.4 or newer, WordPress 6.2 or newer, and WooCommerce 8.3 or newer. Configure the Mailchimp list and checkout preferences, then add global mappings before setting product or variation overrides. For subscription products, configure the lifecycle behavior and expiration actions.
Features are intended to work for each blog in multisite installations. Documentation and code samples are available through the Help Center, and dedicated support is available to WP WooCommerce Mailchimp Pro customers.
