Slides from blocks and templates

bSlider Pro extends bSlider, a WordPress slider extension for responsive presentations from images, posts, WooCommerce products, videos, or slides assembled with Gutenberg blocks. Add a slider with the bSlider block or place it elsewhere with a shortcode. Block-built slides can use familiar components such as headings, images, buttons, and columns.

The Template Library offers more than 50 ready-made designs to import and customize. Pro's Style with AI can set colors, typography, buttons, and arrows from a one-sentence description. With your Google Gemini key, it can also draft slide titles, descriptions, button labels, and alt text from an picture.

Slides from external feeds

Build feed-based sliders from a YouTube channel, Instagram account, RSS feed, or JSON endpoint, then cache results on a schedule you choose. YouTube and Instagram feeds require their respective API credentials. Presets include channel grid, player grid, theater, reels, card, and hover-overlay formats.

YouTube feed controls can filter by search term, playlist, or privacy status, group results, and set thumbnail quality. A profile header card can display a name, picture, follower count, and Follow button. The mini player can keep a video playing in a corner as visitors scroll, while hover preview plays a video within its slide. Player settings include a theme, progress bar color, and lazy loading.

Slides from posts and fields

Dynamic Content binds a post or product to a slide and lets you add Post Field blocks. Each field can draw from its own post, so one slide can combine several sources. Convert a Post Field into a Heading, Paragraph, or Image block to continue editing it in the block editor. Block-built slides also support carousels with two or three slides.

Pro can query custom post types and include or exclude selected posts, products, or the current post. Advanced Custom Fields can supply slide content, including image, title, description, or button values. Use custom fields to filter or sort results, and add as many ACF fields to a slide as needed.

Layouts for browsing content

Choose carousel, grid, thumbnails, or list layouts. Carousels can loop and autoplay horizontally or vertically; advanced effects include ticker and 3D styles. Grid settings include adjustable row and column gaps, while thumbnail navigation has its own direction, arrows, borders, and overlay options. Grid pagination can use standard buttons or Load More.

Visitors can move through slides with arrows, indicators, mouse wheel, or dragging. Arrow-follow and grab-cursor options communicate cursor-based navigation. Controls also cover pagination position, slider height, and responsive settings.

Motion and styling controls

Set fade, slide, or flip transitions, autoplay and duration per slide, and hover pause. Animate individual layers as they enter or leave, set their timing, or use loop effects such as Pulse, Bounce, Float, Flash, Shake, and Swing. Headings and paragraphs can animate one word at a time, and a word can have its own background, padding, corners, and border.

Adjust typography and visibility by device, along with slide backgrounds, overlays, borders, radius, padding, alignment, and content position. Hover and click actions can grow, lift, or fade a layer, open a link, scroll, or move the slider. Badge styling and field icons provide further ways to present post and product details.

Playback and image lightbox

Video slides support popup playback, autoplay, looping, muted starts, reset on end, and controls that can hide while a visitor is idle. Available playback controls include play and pause, mute, rewind, fast-forward, progress, time, and duration. Pro adds picture-in-picture, AirPlay, download, and fullscreen options.

A slide picture can open in a lightbox gallery with captions, a toolbar, and backdrop settings. Configure the caption and buttons, choose a different lightbox image for each device, control which slides open the lightbox, and set the image size and whether the gallery loops.

Place and refine a slider

Install bSlider in WordPress, add its block in the Gutenberg editor or use a shortcode, and choose a content source and layout. With Pro active, configure feeds, dynamic content, motion, playback, navigation, and responsive settings. Reorder slides by drag and drop, then preview the slider before publishing.
